prayer notes ~ baby Joe

Will you please pray with me for precious baby Joe? He is the newest baby son of our friends Kendra & Fletch. Joe is in PICU and is having tests - the doctors are trying to find out what is wrong. Updates can be found here.

Pray for courage and strength for Kendra & Fletch.
Pray for wisdom for the doctors.
Pray for joy and peace as Joe's family trusts the Father for His best.

Wednesdays at my Window ~ art & sweeties

This week at my window I have two wonderful places to share with you. Both of these journals focus on art and children, and I enjoy visiting them so much! Do take time to pop by when you have a moment...

Jean has written a wonderful journal entry here about making space for art in our every days :) Finding (sometimes carving out) a place for our sweeties to be creative (read energetic, messy, wonderfully imaginative) can be a challenge... but Jean writes a very good case for it, as well as some excellent ideas for how to start.

Amanda is a very creative young lady who puts together wonderful art kits for children. She is currently accepting pre-orders for her summer art kit. Read about them here. I have been reading about these kits for a while and have just ordered our first one :) I will review it after we have a chance to work with it.

Little Miss I

It's our joy to introduce... our precious baby girl, Ila (pronounced EYE-la). She was born at 2:35am on June 14.

prayer notes ~ it's time!

I am checking in to the hospital this afternoon, and we will probably have Tiny Little Miss tomorrow sometime! Please pray with us for a safe and joyful delivery, a healthy, strong sweet baby girl, and peaceful rest.

The Father has blessed us in enormous ways just in the timing He has arranged, so our hearts are already full.
